Becoming A Pines Volunteer
Is it right for me?
We are looking for exceptional people with a tremendous capacity for caring to offer services as a hospice volunteer. You can bring meaningful companionship, service, and comfort to both patients and their families facing advanced illness or injury. Whether you are musically inclined, a veteran, an organizer, or simply a great listener, our volunteer program has a place for you. We have many different opportunities that can match your interests and/or experience. As a volunteer, you might assist caregivers or give family members a much needed break. We also have internship and practicum options that can help students prepare for the curriculum demands of their degree programs. We also have clerical assistance positions that provide a great introduction to a career in medical administration. Tell us what you’d like to help with.

At The Pines Home Health and Hospice, we thoroughly interview and train our volunteers before they begin assisting patients and families. This helps us find the best fit for each of our patient’s needs. Our volunteers become an important part of the interdisciplinary care team. Volunteers do not need to have a medical background…anyone can help!
